Only been once, but found it when we could not make it to state college to eat. Not quite as a good as Clems, but pretty darn good. Get off 80 if you are passing through. Take away sauce is a good idea. If I was the first, it might be a 5*, but it's not 5*, so an encouraging 4 should help yelpers find it. I put the price as moderate, not cheap. the bbq drives the price up relative to bugers, but worth it. And, one reviewer liked it enough to make it the only review they have written! whoo-hoo Margaret C!

This place is a hidden Gem located between Lock Haven and Mill Hall Pa. It appears to be an old gas station nestled at the intersection of two Streets. Seating is VERY limited, probably 3 tables tops. Regulars that frequent the place do take out. I've eaten there about 5 times and I've always gotten to sit down. Take the Mill Hall exit on Rt 220, hang a left at the light, it should be in site. I've been known to drive 50 miles out of my way for Curt's Q Curt knows his Q. I have eaten BBQ in many areas of the country and the meats here are FABULOUS. The Best Beef Brisket I've had outside of Texas, hands down. Moist, Smokey and incredibly tender. The chicken quarters is another must have. Moist and a bit Smokey, it literally melts in your mouth. Curt has a good selection of their own BBQ sauces. The hot one is very good, Spicy but unless you're some sort of weenie (you know who you are) it won't have you running for the OJ. I would give this place a 5 star, but I've had better sides. The Slaw though is very good, and the beans are very tolerable. I have to admit to not trying all the sides yet. It's hard for me to get past the Brisket and chicken. The pulled pork is very good though, and If you're a fan (normally I am, but my stomach is only so big), you'll definitely like it. I've not had the Ribs, which are supposed to be excellent. My son used to work in the area and Turned me on to Curt's. He said the ribs are Great, I'm not that much of a Rib guy. But if it's any estimation of their taste, my son who makes the best ribs I've ever had, really likes them. One of these trips down that way I'll have to give them a try. Since Curt's is mainly take out, it's pretty decently priced. I usually bring home a couple pounds of Brisket or just assorted meat. If your a Bar B Que lover and any where near Lock Haven, this is a must stop

The BBQ isn't very smoky. I was looking forward to the smoky flavor promised by the name. The meat was okay, but the beans picked up the slack where the BBQ fell short. The beans were the best part of the meal. The staff was friendly and everyone seemed pretty happy to be there.

We decided to try this place after seeing all the great reviews. They forgot half of our meal for takeout (the meat on both entrees) and everything else was subpar. Very average food. Will not go back

I have been to a good bit of bbq restaurants, this one was pretty decent. This is really more for carry out then eating in. I got the bbq trio with brisket, boneless ribs, and chicken. This came with baked beans and my choice of sweet potato fries. I will say the brisket was the BEST I have ever had. It was amazing. I wish I would have got just brisket. Boneless ribs was still very good, as well as the chicken. The baked beans was very good. The sweet potato fries were ok. I think next time I would try something other than the sweet potato fries. Worth giving a try if you are in the area... Take out is the easiest for this place. Setting very minimum. People are complaining about the price. I think the price is fair. You can spend just as much if not more at certain local fast food chains. These people are making most of this on site... rather then places that charge a lower price and not made on site. People need to give places a more eye open review... Certain places are not going to be like others...

Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. But wait. They also make some superb pizzas too. Do not be afraid to ask for stuff off the menu. But the best thing is by far is their brisket gravy. I could bathe in it. I suggested to John that he could make some killer poutine if they could find some good cheese curds.

Excellent food way to much to eat which means left overs. Brisket was tender and tasty, pulled.pork was plentiful. Fries were a bit dark but delicious. Wood oven pizza was the best we've had in a long time

We've stopped here on a drive through PA. Totally worth the extra 5 minute drive off the highway. Pulled pork and ribs are fantastic. And here's a great tip: for about $5, you can take home a quart of their sauce! Keeps in your fridge for a long while and you can remember your meal at Curt's for even longer!

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had - definitely the best food in the area, by far. Their pizzas are also amazing. I've had the BBQ chicken pizza and the chipotle chicken pizza.

Good flavor, very tender ribs and in line with the oversized Pennsylvania portions . Mine were warm, not hot. I'm sure they will do better next time.

The best ribs in at least a 50 mile radius (probably 100 but I haven't lived here long enough to test that). In fact, some of the best ribs I have ever had. I have no problem driving the 40 minutes it takes for me to get to Curt's. Curt knows how to make ribs. In fact, I would say that Curt makes some of the best ribs I have ever had (possibly the best) and I have eaten a lot of ribs. My only complaint, I wish there was more seating. Driving back to Montoursville is not an option for me with those ribs in my car! There are about 15 or so seats inside and some picnic tables outside (not an option in the winter). Apparently, there are other things there besides ribs, however, I can't imagine myself ever ordering anything but ribs there. However, my guess is that stuff is pretty awesome, too. Curt, you're the man!
